Robyn Wood is a South Australian designer, working in various disciplines including furniture design, painting, sculpture, installation and product.
Connection to nature in a contemporary context is important to her. Maintaining curiosity is vital. She hikes and explores landscapes foraging for ideas. She has a preference for warmer natural materials and organic forms. Objects and furniture are considered in the context of the space they will inhabit.
Robyn’s creative projects include private and corporate furniture commissions, collaborations, exhibition work, curating, workshops and products.
IN 2021 she created and curated Biophilia: Call of the Wild, a group exhibition and symposium delving into biophilic design.
Bringing nature inside through art and design is an area Robyn continues to investigate.
Each project evolves through Storytelling. Robyn now works with wood, paper, ink, cane and other media to tell those stories.
